IDENTIFYING AND SOLVING ETHICAL DILEMMAS FACED BY BANKING PERSONNEL

We have identified over 100 ethical dilemmas faced by the employees and managers of a large bank. Our research highlighted possible ways to mitigate or resolve these dilemmas based on case studies from multiple international banks.

OPEN SOURCE INTELLIGENCE

ESTIMATING THE ELECTRIFICATION POTENTIAL OF THE FRENCH INLAND WATERWAY FLEET

We have identified the key drivers behind the electrification of 13 types of inland waterway boats in the merchant and tourism sectors. This helped estimate the power needs of the fleet in each of the seven French river basins.

SPEEDING UP THE SPREAD OF INNOVATIVE RADIOTHERAPIES

We have demonstrated that Intensity Modulated Conformal Radiation Therapy was not costlier than standard radiotherapy. Also, we proved that stereotaxic radiotherapy was the most accurate and cheapest of all radiotherapies.

SPEEDING UP THE SPREAD OF MEDICAL INNOVATION

We have demonstrated that the scientific literature shared by the National Library of Medicine in an open-database (PubMed) could be leveraged to anticipate up-coming medical innovation with high impact on the care pathway of cancer, heart disease and other pathologies.

REDUCING CHURN AT A FRENCH TELECOM PLAYER

We have demonstrated that churn could be reduced for BOX / ADSL customers by analyzing technical data related to network access. Our conclusions were based on a custom made mathematical model quantifying the level of dissatisfaction felt by customers experiencing network failures.

ANTICIPATING THE GROWTH IN PHOTOVOLTAIC CAPACITY IN FRANCE

We have estimated the potential growth rate of photovoltaics up to 2035 for 6 types of solar units (residential, commercial, solar farms…). Future scenarios have been explored to test the sensitivity of multiple supply and demand dynamics.
